So, the article I wrote a while back (see this) appears to have been well-received by the newspaper. I have a meeting with the managing editor tomorrow to go over the edited version, and to "catch up", so hopefully I'll be asked to write a second article and get a chance to share some of my ideas.

A family member suggested I write about African-Americans and the health food community, an idea we both stumbled upon while at Earth Fare a while back (I think I might have tweeted about my "health food epiphany" last week). Anyways, that idea, as well one about the music industry and "generic music" are two thoughts I've been sitting on for a little bit. I the mean time, I'm hoping my first artcle will the see the light of print sometime next week.
